Why women? Because Tren’ness, a community organizer from Harlem. Because Tess, a first-generation South Korean with undocumented parents. Because Armita, an Iranian-American afraid to leave the U.S. to visit her family. Because Aly, who marched on Washington two weeks before giving birth to a baby girl. Because Trinity, age 9. 

THE WHY WOMEN CREATIVE COLLECTIVE

The Why Women Project is a women's empowerment community inspired by real women and everyday activists. Inside the collective, we’re professional writers, editors, photographers, producers and filmmakers who work in industries like media, film and marketing (and give a $*&! about human rights), and we're telling stories of women who are mobilizing on a massive scale, at an individual level.
